5. Jacqueline Mars: $31.7 billion Washington 

The American confectionery firm Mars was established by Audrey Ruth (Meyer), Forrest Mars, Sr., and Frank C. Mars. Jacqueline Mars is the company's heiress. On the list of the top 10 richest women in the world as of 2023, she is rated 48th overall and 18th among Americans. She is also the Virginian with the highest degree of wealth. As President of the Food Product Group, she joined Mars, Inc. in 1982 and left the company in 2001.

6. Gina Reinhart: $30.2 billion

Gina Reinhart, who goes by Georgina Hope Rinehart, is the executive chairwoman of Hancock Prospecting. Hancock Prospecting, a privately held mineral exploration and extraction company, was established by her father, Lang Hancock. Rinehart is the richest person in Australia. Rinehart was the sole largest landowner in the nation, according to a May 2021 Guardian Australia investigation. As of 2023, German billionaire heiress Susanne Hanna Ursula Klatten is listed as one of the Top 10 Richest Women in the World and is placed 65th overall. Moreover, she is Germany's richest woman. By inheriting Atlanta, her father's pharmaceutical and chemical manufacturing company, she amassed wealth of $1 billion. As a member of the company's supervisory board, she worked extremely hard to transform the business into a premier institution. In 2023, her net worth was projected to be $25.2 billion USD. With her husband's death, Iris Balbina Fontbona González inherited Antofagasta PLC and rose to the status of a wealthy entrepreneur. She is one of the top ten richest women in the world and is the owner of the Antofagasta mining firm, Banco de Chile, Madeco, a manufacturer of copper goods, CCU, the largest brewer in the country, and CSAV, a shipping firm. She is the richest person in Chile, one of the wealthiest persons in Latin America, and one of the richest women in the world in 2023. Once her husband went away, she was able to grow the family business and elevate it to new levels of prosperity.

10. Yang Huiyan: $22.4 billion

China's Guangzhou is where Yang Huiyan was born in 1981. She is a property developer and one of the top 10 richest women in the world. She owns the majority of Country Garden Holdings' shares. She was formerly Asia's richest woman in the world in 2023.

Her father founded Country Garden Holdings, a real estate company, in 1997. Prior to Country Garden Holdings' 2007 initial public offering, his father Yang Guoqiang gave Yang Huiyan 70% of the specific shares. Yang Huiyan is thought to be worth $22.4 billion.
