Breast Cancer Awareness Month Victoria Secret collaborates with Stella McCartney signs cure and beginning of breast cancer
October is breast cancer awareness month, we bring to you a special feature! #ThinkWithNiche
Victoria's Secret is collaborating with fashion designer and breast cancer awareness campaigner Stella McCartney to develop a collection of mastectomy bras. This upcoming lingerie product is part of a larger effort to raise awareness about the risks of breast cancer during October's Breast Cancer Awareness Month. 90% of women diagnosed with stage I breast cancer will live for at least 5 years after their diagnosis. (Most of these ladies would outlive their diagnosis by considerably more than 5 years.) Overall survival differs depending on the stage of breast cancer.
According to a press release from Victoria's Secret, the mastectomy bra is particularly created for women with breast cancer and is manufactured with no wire, soft material, and a pocket in the inside lining to suit a prosthesis. For the month of October, the bra is available for ten dollars with all revenues benefiting The Victoria's Secret Global Fund for Women's Cancers.
Under new management, Victoria's Secret is shifting away from model-based marketing and toward a more general audience of women. The lingerie retailer has renovated its storefronts, ditching the distinctive pink hue, décor, and unrealistic-looking mannequins in favor of a more contemporary style. Victoria's Secret intends to renovate approximately over 1,000 shops within the span of five years.
How Does Breast Cancer Start
Breast cancer can also begin in the mammary glands known as fascicles (incurable lung cancer), as well as other cells or tissues from the inside of the breast. Most breast cancers divide every 2 months, so cancer has already been in your system for 2 to 5 years by that point you see cancerous growth.
Cure For Breast Cancer
There is no such thing as a “natural” cure for breast cancer. Tumors must be removed, shrunk, or slowed in their growth through medical therapies. However, you can utilize alternative therapies and lifestyle modifications in addition to traditional medical treatments to help: manage breast cancer symptoms.
Does Cancer Appear Without Any Reason
Symptoms of inflammatory breast cancer might arise abruptly. Inflammatory breast cancer is sometimes mistaken with a breast infection (mastitis). This is due to the similarities in symptoms.
How To Detect Breast Cancer
Place your left hand on your hip and your right hand in the left armpit. Rep the opposing party. Examine both sides of your collarbone for lumps or thickenings. Stretch out the breast tissue by raising one arm behind your head with wash hands.
According to a recent study, breast cancer can be diagnosed up to five years before clinical symptoms appear by utilizing a blood test that recognizes the body's immunological response to chemicals generated by tumor cells. Weight gain is found to range between two and 18 pounds in nearly 80% of women diagnosed with breast cancer. According to a popular belief, “sugar feeds cancer.” However, sugar does not cause cancer to develop quicker. All cells, including cancer cells, rely on glucose (blood sugar) for energy. However, giving cancer cells more sugar does not cause them to grow faster.
