Motherhood In Modern World Still Wagging Tales of Patriarchy

We all know that new mothers have to suffer because of long-held patriarchy but with numerous inventions taking place in the modern world, a lot has changed over a cup of coffee. New mothers are breaking usual boundaries and norms for a good cause. Across all sections of society, women are subjected to harsh judgments and constructive criticism easily. If one could see the wonders of being a woman, they could give birth to the entire world. Their physical and mental strength is comparable to that of a mountain that has stood on a chalet in a valley for over 500 hundred years. The most effective method to counter this skewed ideology is to enhance new mothers' understanding of their rights. Entering motherhood can be difficult for women who are already vulnerable, and this vulnerability is linked to societal expectations and "women's conduct in public spaces!

Well, if you think alike just like this narrative, then stand tall and firm for your right as a human being first! Being a woman can be challenging in so many ways but all it takes is to beat those challenges and rise from the soil against the age-old patriarchy. Women are shamed when they are seen feeding a child in public spaces. It’s a stain being a woman at times, isn’t it? This major concern has taken a back seat in the lives of expectant mothers. There is no need to be concerned as long as proper resources are available to keep one's head held high.

It’s high time that women stand up for their rights. If they keep their lips tight, society will rip off their individuality. Juggling through motherhood is something most modern women are subjected to. It’s work from home/office, baby whining, husband cooking up stories at home to subjugate wife’s every motive. Today's women have their life controlled by their brothers, fathers, sons, and in-laws like a remote control. Even if on-screen heroes have made this standard practically achievable, it's difficult for women to break free from these conventional beliefs that she alone feels.

In this scenario, where grown-up kids are hardly at home, and mothers have to indulge in daunting household chores which have no limits. There are times when mothers are surrounded by servants, so a hint of ‘privilege’ label defines such women’s lives. But what happens when a woman struggles to fix a dish, mop the floor, clean the kitchen all by herself? Since, internally mothers become prone to weakness after giving birth to a child, unexpected work which knocks on their doors comes with rather health issues. These problems can turn into a physical mess if mothers continue to act like slaves for their families!

Honestly, it is mothers that should be sincerely wearing ‘capes’, their contribution to our daily lives remains endless. A womb that can swear so much life can survive through every nail of life like a snarling snail!
