Youth and underage boys download images of young girls which is known as a criminal offense.

A survey was done on “Youth Internet use: risks and opportunities” by (Guan), (Shu-Sha Angiea), (Subrahmanyam), and (Kaverib), shows “The results show that online risks such as addiction, cyberbullying, and sexual solicitation are associated with negative consequences for youth. It is important to note that not all children are equally susceptible and more research is necessary to identify the youth most at risk as well as to develop effective interventions. The Internet can also provide benefits in the areas of cognitive, social, and physical development, and can also be used to deliver treatment interventions.”

More stringent rules and regulations must be followed on the internet. Cybercrime is also one of the most dangerous aspects in the world of the internet which is growing in large numbers for the millennial, youth, children, and teenagers of all age groups. The strict rules that these children's parents implement early in their lives will reduce the chances of their youngsters indulging in illegal browsing activities. Parents, as well as the adult members of the family, will be informed and aware of what is going on within the four walls of their home. With the ongoing peer and societal pressures, it goes without saying that today's youth are not losing themselves every minute in the eyes of new media.
