After a software company awarded their five employees with BMW cars for their loyalty, another IT company based in Chennai gifted 100 Maruti cars to 100 of its employees. In a statement released by the company on Tuesday, the IT firm, Ideas2IT told that the company has gifted 100 cars to its 100 employees who have been giving their services to the company for the last 10 years. The Chairman and the Chief Executive Officer of the company, Murali Vivekanandan said: "We are not gifting the cars, it is the employees who have earned these cars through their hard work."

He further went on to say that employees had given significant contributions and efforts to develop the company to the position it is in. Mr. Vivekanandan said: "We had promised the employees a few years ago that we would be sharing our wealth with them, and awarding the cars is the first step. We will shower them with more such initiatives in the near future." After receiving the cars for their services, employees are really happy. One of the employees Prasanth who received the car, said: "We were earlier given gifts like iPhones and gold coins. Car is indeed a better gift and we thank our management wholeheartedly for the gift that they have given us"
