The Estimate Of 'Squid Game' Will Be Worth 900 Million: Netflix

A recent report of Bloomberg has claimed that Squid Game is the biggest original series launched by Netflix till now. The show is estimated to be worth almost $900 million. 

Squid Game is a 9 episode thriller show which showcases people in debt competing against each other to win the cash prize of 45.6 billion won ($38.58 million). The show has become a worldwide hit just after a few days of release. The cost spent on producing the show is $21.4 million. 

According to a report, it has broken the records set by the U.K. custom drama, “Bridgerton”. Bridgerton was streamed by 82 million accounts within the first 28 days of the release whereas Squid Game has been watched 132 million times within the 28 days of its release. It is estimated that 89% of people have started watching the show and almost 66% have finished watching the show already, with all these records it has become the first Korean show to top the charts in Netflix, United States.
