News Synopsis

YouTube has planned to make the dislike count private. Currently, the users can like or dislike the video according to their preferences, the count of likes and dislikes can be seen by both the user and the creator. However, the creator or the owner of the video can hide this count but now YouTube has decided to make it completely private to stop the harassment that creators face. 

The users will still have the option to like or dislike the content but the dislike count will not be visible to the users. The creators can have the access to the number of dislikes on YouTube Studio.
