WinZO Takes Aim at Global Gaming Domination with "Bharat Tech Triumph" Initiative

In a bid to enhance the global export of Made-in-India games and related technology, vernacular skill gaming platform WinZO launched the 'Bharat Tech Triumph' initiative on January 16.

Under this program, WinZO commits to support research in deep tech for social gaming and cybersecurity, offering resources such as infrastructure, collaborative opportunities, funding, and access to real-world data. The initiative will also provide access to high-speed computing services and real-time game engines with ultra-low latency.

Partnerships for Progress

WinZO has collaborated with industry veterans, including Rajesh Raju from Kalaari Capital, Justin Shriram Keeling from Lumikai, Anand Jain from CleverTap, and Neha Yadav from Amazon Web Services. The Telangana VFX, Animation, and Gaming Association (TVAGA) also join hands for this comprehensive program.

Rajesh Raju, Managing Director of Kalaari Capital, emphasized the significance of diversifying exports for India's economic prosperity. He noted that the export of game tech products, particularly high-speed computation technology, plays a pivotal role in unlocking India's economic potential and ensuring the success of technology startups.

Global Exposure and Opportunities

To further extend global exposure, select startups from the program will be part of the first-ever India Pavilion at the Game Developers’ Conference in San Francisco in March 2024. This pavilion, launched and hosted by TVAGA in collaboration with Interactive Entertainment and Innovation Council (IEIC) and WinZO, aims to showcase cutting-edge technology and innovation from Indian startups.
