Teen Brothers win International Children’s Peace Prize

News Synopsis

Two brothers from India have won the 2021 Kids Rights International Children’s Peace Prize. Vihan and Nav Agrawal have won this award for developing the ‘One Step Greener’ initiative which helped in organizing pickups for trash different homes. 

Vihaan who is asthmatic, and Nav both grew up in Delhi. The environment their affected their health due to the high pollution level in the city. The brothers got inspired for developing the One Step Greener after the collapse of Ghazipur Landfill will lead to the demise of two people and increase the pollution even more in the city. He also said that both of them were able to do this with the collective efforts of everyone and this is what we all need to do, get together and do our best to control the pollution.
