Rajinikanth Receives Dada Saheb Phalke Award

Rajinikanth, the Bollywood and south movie star received India's highest film honour, Dada Saheb Phalke Award from the vice president Venkaiah Naidu. Everyone is aware that the actor used to work as a bus conductor before acting, so the actor has dedicated the award to his old bus conductor friend. Rajinikanth has also thanked his fans for their support and said that he could have not won this award without them .

Rajinikanth attended the award ceremony with his son-in-law Dhanush. A jury made up of  Asha Bhosle and Shankar Mahadevan, actors Mohanlal and Biswajeet Chatterjee, and filmmaker Subhash Ghai had selected Rajinijath for the award. The actor is known for his blockbuster films not only in Bollywood but also in the south film industry.
