Former Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of Twitter, Jack Dorsey has supported the acquisition of the microblogging platform by SpaceX CEO Elon Musk. Today, Elon Musk bought Twitter for $44 billion. Jack Dorsey said that the Tesla tycoon is the "singular solution" he trusts to lead the social media platform. On Tuesday, In a series of tweets, the former CEO of Twitter supported SpaceX CEO Musk's vision for Twitter, implying that his goal of making the platform "maximally trusted and broadly inclusive" is the "right one."

Jack Dorsey stepped down as CEO in the month of November, last year. He said, "Twitter is the closest thing we have to a global consciousness." Other than this, Jack Dorsey also expressed regret that Twitter was operating as a public company and said, "taking it back from Wall Street is the correct first step." He further commented, "In principle, I don't believe anyone should own or run Twitter. It wants to be a public good at a protocol level, not a company. Solving for the problem of it being a company, however, Elon is the singular solution I trust. I trust his mission to extend the light of consciousness.”
