News Synopsis

The Twitter account of the prime minister of India, Narendra Modi got hacked. Not only this, the hackers even spread the message about bitcoin being legal in India and that the government will distribute the bitcoins among the citizens. The tweet was later deleted and the Prime Minister’s office has said that the account has been compromised. 

This is not the first time when the Prime Minister’s Twitter account was hacked. The tweet said that the country has brought in the bitcoins and is going to distribute them among the residents of the country. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has previously said that cryptocurrencies could spoil the youth of the country.
