Facebook Reveals 2022 Community Accelerator Participants

Participants in Facebook's Community Accelerator for 2022 are announced Today, the participants of India's Community Accelerator Program for this year are made public. During the four-month 2022 Community Accelerator program, selected community leaders from Facebook groups will receive training, coaching, and funding for a project that expands the impact of their community.

Through its implementation partner T-hub in India, the social network anticipates awarding up to $40,000 per community this year.

There are a few communities from India that have been chosen, including UNIMO Universe of Moms, Genshin Impact Asia, Indian Birds, Balcony Gardening Tips, Telugu Moms Network, The Order of Pen, Office Memes for Working Teens (OMFWT), WeWomen, Nishamadhulika Recipe Group (Official), Parent Tribe by SuperBottoms, Battlegrounds Mobile India, Depression and Anxiety support, Dog Lover, Delhi Foodiez and Backpackers & Travelers India (BATI).

"The programme will help community leaders learn how to create an engaging community using various content formats. A key experience this year will be for participants to identify an initiative that will help deepen their community's impact by mobilizing members around a goal and creating a development plan around it to be executed in 2023," the company stated.

To make their ideas a reality, these community leaders will also get the chance to work together with supporters and other ecosystem leaders.

According to Facebook, community leaders will receive individualized coaching and customized curriculum from professionals to help them organise and build their groups.

The program's advice on how to employ various content forms to create an interesting community will be useful to community leaders. An important learning experience this year will be for participants to be able to select a project that will increase the influence of their community by mobilizing community members around a goal and creating a development plan around it to be implemented in 2023. These community leaders will also get the ability to collaborate with backers and other ecosystem leaders to make their ideas a reality.
