Twitter has unveiled a brand-new function that it has been developing to alert users when a conversation could get "intense." The business is already Testing Notifications that would alert users to a chat that may become heated in its Applications for Android and IOS. In an effort to "Better Foster Healthy Conversation" on the platform, the firm claims to be working on the feature.

These new Suggestions from Twitter appear to be a long-overdue feature that might be really helpful on the Microblogging Network, which is susceptible to harassment and abuse like any other open platform. Wednesday, the company's help account tweeted, "Ever want to know the mood of a chat before you join in?" The business cautions that as it develops the tool, the criteria for selecting which tweets the prompts appear on may change.

As an example of a tweet that would have attracted angry replies, the company posted a Screenshot of the feature in action, showing a tweet with many quote tweets and a reply under there. Twitter introduced a new prompt that reads "Heads Up" and "Conversations like this may be intense" beneath the standard tweet action bar with the respond, Retweet, Like, and Share Buttons. The service may display the prompt based on the content of the tweet and the connection between the tweet author and the person who is replying to the Business Claims.

Another image of the pop-up card that displays the same sample message was also published by Twitter. It advises users to "Remember the Person," "Facts Matter," and "different opinions have importance." Additionally, it offers a "Count me in" button and a link to the Twitter Rules. They will likely see this in a Future Update, however, it is currently unknown if it shows when users press the respond button or when they tap the previous Blue Prompt.

While Twitter is currently working on this feature to improve conversations on the site, it should be noted that this isn't the company's first attempt to include prompts in the service. The notice that asks you to read an item before retweeting it is one such functionality that is currently available to users.

In a similar manner, it has also been developing a feature that might prompt users to pause and consider their tweets before sending them. It will be fascinating to see if this prompt gets added in its current form or if the business changes the layout or the standards for when it should be displayed before making it available to the general public.

What started out as a platform to say funny thoughts, and quotes and make interesting observations, while interacting with people all around the world, has slowly turned into a tool for spreading hate speech. Yes, we are talking about Twitter. Twitter has over the years become a political tool used by people to have intense conversations, spread hate speech, and make offensive statements. Finally, Twitter has recognized this problem and taken a stand against hate speech of any and every kind. It is testing a new feature called Heads Up, that will alert people when they are about to embark on a very heated discussion that would likely turn into an offensive discussion.

After much deliberation and outrage from users, Twitter has recognized that the platform is going through a dangerous change and is mostly used by people who want to be vocal about their political stands. Thankfully after the new update, the platform would inform people when they are about to engage in a heated discussion. This way people can stay away from these discussions or go into it being aware of what they can turn into. Twitter will also introduce a new feature that will inform people if they are about to upload something that is offensive. All these are ways for the platform to regulate itself.
