Shark Tank India, India’s first edition of Business Reality Show

Sony Entertainment has brought the popular business reality show, Shark Tank in India, where the aspiring business entrepreneurs present their business ideas and models to a group of investors, persuading them to invest in their business. 

The show started airing in 2009 and is currently airing the 13th season of the show. Shark Tank is being aired in India for the first time. According to Sony TV, they have received almost 62,000 aspirants from India, out of which only 198 were selected to be presented in front of the investors. 

The judges who are also termed as ‘sharks’ in the show are Ashneer Grover (BharatPe),Vineeta Singh (SUGAR Cosmetics), Peeyush Bansal (Lenscart.com), Namita Thapar (Emcure Pharmaceuticals), Anupam Mittal (Shaadi.com), Ghazal Alagh (Mamaearth), Aman Gupta (boAt Lifestyle). The show brings great opportunities for the entrepreneurs who are starting their business by pitching the investors to invest in their business.
