India Ranked Second in Terms of Hours Spent on Mobile and Downloads

According to the latest State of Mobile report of App Annie, Indians spent more than 699 billion hours on mobile out of a total of 3.8 trillion hours spent on mobile globally. India gets second place after China and before the USA in the report.

The report also showed that the use of mobile and smartphones has declined in China as compared to the data of 2020-2021. But the user time in India has increased from 510 billion hours to 699 billion hours in 2021-2022. India being the second-largest market in the world, the figures also represent the dependence of the Indian people on electronic devices for communication, games, finances, and more.

India also has second place in terms of downloads as well with 1 billion downloads last year across Google Play Store and App Store. The most downloaded app is the social media application Instagram.
