News Synopsis

The driving data of the car company Tesla was hacked by Dutch investigators. The car company stores the data regarding their customers driving behavior. The investigators or the hackers, however, have found out that Tesla records almost all the details about the driving behaviors from Speed to Break use. The company is using this data to improve its driving system and autopilot.

The data can also be used for investigation in a crash or any other accident and can be stored for up to a year. The team of investigators has said that they needed the data for the investigation of the crash of the Tesla car, but instead of asking the company for it, they straight up hacked the company's data log.

Francis Hoogendijk, a digital investigator at the NFI has said that the data stored by the company can be helpful in a lot of car crashes and it's not like the company does not comply with it; but a lot of information is still kept away from the investigators.
