Donald Trump launches ‘Truth Social’

Former United States President, Donald Trump after getting banned from micro blogging site Twitter last year, has now launched its own social media platform by the name ‘Truth Social’. The app is currently available in a limited form on the Apple App Store in the United States. Donald Trump was not only banned from Twitter, but also from Facebook and YouTube. This was done after the US Capitol riots last year incited by the former President. After this Trump founded Trump Media and Technology Group (TMTG). This company developed the ‘Truth Social’ app. Some early users faced some issues while registering their accounts. Devin Nunes, project lead informed that the app will be fully functional by the end of the next month. Last week Trump posted his first post on the app and wrote, “ Get Ready! Your favorite President will see you soon”.
