Air Force Day 2022: Today 90 years of Indian Air Force are being completed. This time the main program of the Air Force is being parade and air show in Chandigarh. For the first time, the Air Force Day parade is being organized outside the Hindon Air Force Station in Ghaziabad in Chandigarh. The biggest air show will be organized by the Air Force on Sukhna Lake.

83 aircraft are participating in the flypast. An-32, Mi-17, MiG-29, Prachanda, MiG-35, IL-76, Sukhoi-30, AW NC, MiG-29, JugR, Rafale, Chinook, Tejas, Apache, and Harvard will show their feats in the airshow. Indigenously manufactured Light Combat Helicopter Prachanda is also participating in the show. In the air show, three huge helicopters will also show amazing feats to the people.

President and Commander-in-Chief of the three services Draupadi Murmu, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Air Marshal VR Choudhary, Punjab Governor Banwarilal Purohit and Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya and Chief Minister Manohar Lal in the air show to be held at And Chandigarh MP Kirron Kher will be present.

On Friday, a day before Air Force Day, the weather had changed in the city. It was cloudy in the city. The Meteorological Department has predicted bad weather for two days. Even today the weather has remained bad since morning. However, it has not rained in the city. Manmohan Singh, director of the Meteorological Department, said that on October 8, there is a possibility of rain in North India. Due to this, rain with bad weather is forecast in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh including Himachal, and Jammu, and Kashmir.

The 2022 Indian Air Force Day theme has not yet been announced. The theme for the prior year (2021) was "Touch the Sky with Glory." The staff's "unwavering efforts and heroic sacrifices" in 2020.
