Go First Is Still Working To Restore Its Official Twitter Account
According to a news source, low-cost carrier Go First is still seeking to recover its hacked official Twitter account. On September 14, the account hacking was reported. There are more than two lakh followers on the account.
According to the report, the official stated that there are no problems with the organization's IT systems and that efforts are being made to reinstate the account. The airline said that its Twitter account has been compromised in a statement released on Wednesday.
The handle's most recent tweet was sent on September 13th. “We've added a range of yummy, healthy & irresistible delicacies to our in-flight offerings to make your journey smooth & flavourful. Tasted them yet? Pre-book now: https://bit.ly/3DoOGou," The airline had tweeted.
This is the second time the handle has been compromised this year. The airline's Twitter account was also compromised in January of this year. Last month, Akasa Air experienced a data breach that allowed unauthorised people to access some customer data.
Meanwhile, according to the aviation watchdog DGCA, over 97 lakh domestic passengers flew in July. It stated that IndiGo, the largest airline in India, transported 57.11 lakh passengers in July, representing for 58.8% of the domestic market.
