News Synopsis

In order to help entrepreneurs scale their start-up businesses, the Artha School of Entrepreneurship has been established by some of India's most well-known start-up founders and investors, including Suruchi Maitra (Lenskart, UnitedLex, Daksh), T N Hari (Daksh, Virtusa, TaxiForSure, BigBasket), Sanjeev Aggarwal (Daksh, Helion, Fundamentum), Pramath Sinha ( The institution is organised as a Section 8 Company (a not-for-profit organisation).

The Artha Scale Programme, the school's first programme, is aimed towards early-stage start-up owners who have some degree of product-market fit and are ready to scale. The program's goal is to give these founders access to the art and science of scaling. A series of in-person, intense problem-solving workshops led by knowledgeable practitioners serve as the program's defining feature.

Along with a group of dedicated mentors who are accomplished founders and startup executives, the participants will also have access to online content covering all aspects of scaling in a variety of formats. These mentors will help the participants work through some of their scale-related difficulties.

This year's first round of workshops has already taken place in Kochi. According to a statement from the company, workshops have already been booked for Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Delhi and will shortly be added for Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Pune, Mumbai, and Chennai. Additionally, T-Hub in Hyderabad and KSN Global in Kochi are partners with Artha. Additionally, talks to collaborate with ecosystem enablers in other states are in progress.
