Bisleri International's director of marketing and business development, Anjana Ghosh, has resigned after 16 years. Ghosh joined Bisleri, the most trusted mineral water brand in India, in 2006. After serving for over 16 years, Ghosh has quit the position.

During her time at Bisleri, she handled the company's brand expansions and organised the engineering shift from blue to green. Sharing her journey, Ghosh stated that she had learned a valuable lesson about keeping customers at the centre of the company throughout her 16 years there.

“Consumers must love your company and your brand for how you make them feel, what you do for the community at large, and not what you say through your various communications. He or she must love the brand, not just consume it,” she remarked.

Ghosh adds that there are many options for consumers to choose from in today's environment, despite facing difficulties with structural and brand transition. "Any transition usually has challenges. The growth and retention of the company's customer base is essential, she continues.

Her main area of interest is "Research on Sustainability," which she hopes to pursue. Ghosh discussed her transition to a strategic position where she intends to help create an organisation.

 “It was 16 long years of association that saw Bisleri rise to become number one brand, build huge consumer connections with clutter-breaking campaigns, and witness it grow leaps and bounds. I will cherish the experience for the rest of my life," she added.
