Some of the relevant Portal Rules (www.thinkwithniche.com) are excerpted below, but All Writers/ Authors/ Readers/ Members, Internal Editorial Team, Support Teams and Visitors are responsible for understanding and adhering to all set of rules, including conflict of interest and conflict of commitment policies, and to be aware of any subsequent policy modifications. The Current Policies were last updated on 15 August, 2021.
Conflict of Interest Policy on Financial and Content
Think With Niche Portal (www.thinkwithniche.com) Policy on Financial and Content Conflicts of Interest and Research requires Leaders/ Writers/ Authors and Editorial Team to disclose outside financial interests (Selling/ Republish/ Freelance) that relate to any of their Content Writing attributes, research, including funded/unfunded research, to peer and Members of the Public. These disclosures must be made to Think With Niche (Niche Business Solutions) Editor (editor[at]thinkwithniche[dot]com).
Think With Niche Portal (www.thinkwithniche.com) Writers/ Authors/ Members and Editorial Team are expected to follow this disclosure not only in Publications but in Consulting Reports, Presentations, Podcasts and other work products that will be publicly available.
Conflict of Commitment
With respect to conflicts of commitment, the current Think With Niche Portal (www.thinkwithniche.com) Policy prohibits outside activities that interfere with a Portal Publications and Research which you are engaged for, as well as those activities that exceed more than the equivalent of two or more articles per day.
“Think With Niche Portal (www.thinkwithniche.com) Writers/ Authors/ Members and Editorial Team may not engage in outside activities that directly compete with the portal mission and interests or are in conflict with their responsibilities, regardless of the time they require.” Conflict of interest and conflict of commitment rules also apply during a Writer/ Author/ Member/ Editorial Team member’s sabbatical.
The Writer/ Author/ Member/ Editorial Team member must list the nature of the activity and the name of all outside organizations for which he or she has provided paid or unpaid services during the past one year, including but not limited to services provided as researcher, consultant, case writer, teacher, speaker, board member or executive. The name of the organization listed must be the organization that receives the benefit of the work performed, not an intermediary. Services provided to a not-for-profit must be included as well.
If an explicit confidentiality agreement was required in a consulting relationship- the Writer/ Author/ Members must describe the type of organization rather than list the name of the organization.
Think With Niche Portal (www.thinkwithniche.com) Writers/ Authors/ Members must also list any organization in which they or members of their household have ownership, if the Writers/ Authors/ Members professional activities are related to the activities of that organization.
The Writer/ Author/ Member Profile must be updated at least every three months if there are new activities that would require disclosure.
The Management, Support Teams and Editor(s) will monitor and enforce compliance with this disclosure requirement.
At their discretion, Writers/ Authors/ Members may use the following sentence when listing outside activities: “Think With Niche Portal (www.thinkwithniche.com) requires its Writers/ Authors/ Members to disclose any activities that might present a real or apparent conflict of interest.
Here is the “List of Outside Activities”:
