Zocket, an Indian software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform has announced that it has raised $3 million in its seed funding round. This seed funding round was led by Kalaari Capital and it also saw the participation of Kettleborough VC. The Saas startup empowers small and midsize businesses (SMBs) to promote their services at the click of a button across multiple digital platforms. The startup was founded by Karthik Venkateswaran, Nandha Kumar Ravi, Sundar Natesan, and Mukund Srivathsan in the year 2021. The company aids businesses to launch their ads on different digital platforms in less than 30 seconds. Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer of Zocket, Karthik Venkateswaran said: “Consumer-facing small businesses in India have been heavily reliant on online classifieds for digital discovery. With social becoming the new identity, most businesses want to have their own online presence on Facebook, Instagram & other media. This is where Zocket comes in to help these small businesses instantly create their social presence and build their brand online.” He further informed that the raised capital will be used to acquire better talents, build a solid product and brand.
