WhatsApp Plans to Bring a New Feature

In 2020, WhatsApp launched a feature called Disappearing Message. This feature can be activated in selected chats and deletes selected messages after some time, once activated. This feature has made chat temporary. WhatsApp is currently working on a new update of the message disappearing feature that can prevent some of your messages from disappearing.

This new feature allows users to save messages from chat even when the hide feature is enabled. This feature is useful in case users may want to save the message for future use.

Once the selected message has been backed up and saved, you can click "Contact Information" in the chat to see the saved message. There is a label called "kept Message," in which users can see the saved messages and access them at any time in the future.

It has not yet been announced when this feature will be available as part of regular WhatsApp. This means users have to wait for a while until this version is available to everyone.

This feature pleases users because they may not want to keep all chats, but they may want to keep only some of these special messages. This feature automatically removes many messages from your phone, but the selected message remains in the chat.
