Having recently ended his multi-crore deal with sports brand Puma, Kohli did not just become a brand ambassador for Agilitas; he also made a personal investment of ₹40 crore, acquiring approximately 1.94% stake in the company.

"Today marks a new beginning very close to my heart. A new journey begins for One8 and Agilitas, driven by strong goals and big dreams. I am bringing One8 to its new home with Agilitas."
In the video, he explained his motivation behind the investment:
"I could have just been part of One8 or Agilitas, but when I learned about their strong manufacturing and expert team, I realized the potential. I didn’t want to miss this opportunity."
From Puma to Agilitas
Kohli’s association with Puma began in 2017 and was reportedly worth ₹110 crore. Recently, Puma offered him a new deal valued at ₹300 crore, which he declined.
Agilitas Sports was founded by Abhishek Ganguly, former MD of Puma India and Southeast Asia. With this new partnership, One8 will collaborate with Agilitas to launch footwear, apparel, and lifestyle products, with plans to expand the brand globally.
