Ukraine has Raised over $60 million in Crypto to Fund its War Efforts

War affected Ukraine in a bid to strengthen its resistance against Russia has raised more than $60 million in the form of cryptocurrency. These funds include everything from cryptocurrency to non-fungible tokens (NFTs). These funds will be utilized to support the military of the country, displaced families, children caught in the middle of conflict, and in other areas. To support the Ukrainian army, Ukraine Dao has raised more than $6.7 million by selling 10,000 non-fungible tokens (NFTs) of the Ukrainian flag. These sold NFTs were created as a collaboration between Nadezhda Tolokonnikova, digital artists Trippy Labs, and crypto collective PleasrDAO. Additionally, Vice Prime Minister of the Country, Mykhailo Fedorov declared that Ukraine’s Government in order to fund military operations will also issue NFTs. This has eventually raised $54.7 million so far through the government and Ukrainian non-government organizations. Other than these, various organizations such as Reli3F, Forza Ikonia, ArtWaRks Ukraine, TIMEpieces, etc have also raised funds to support Ukraine in times of crisis.
