In a bid to expand its services, Tata Sky not only changed its name to Tata Play but has also decided to offer OTT streaming services by integrating OTT platforms with their television services. The newly rebranded television-cum-OTT service has joined hands with a total of 13 OTT streaming platforms including Netflix, Amazon’s Prime Video, Disney+ Hotstar, and many others. With this, the company has also launched new subscription plans that offer both services, as combo packs starting at ₹399 per month. This move came as a result of the growing popularity of OTT platforms recently. Actor Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor will feature in their nationwide campaign for its promotion. Tata sky was launched way back in 2006 and it has become a household name DTH name since then.
