Samsung is setting an ambitious goal to surpass 100 million unit sales for its popular Galaxy A series in India this year. According to Aditya Babbar, Vice President of Samsung India Mobile Experience, Samsung's A-series smartphones have already gained a loyal customer base of 89 million users. With the introduction of the A56 5G and A36 5G, the company aims to strengthen its leadership in the highly competitive Indian smartphone market.

One of the major highlights of the new Galaxy A series launch is that these devices will be manufactured in India, reinforcing Samsung’s commitment to the country’s "Make in India" initiative. Additionally, Samsung has maintained its dominant position in the ₹25,000-₹35,000 and ₹35,000-₹50,000 price segments, and it expects to continue leading in these categories with the new Galaxy A56 and A36 models.

The Samsung Galaxy A56 5G will be available in three variants, with a net effective price ranging from ₹41,999 to ₹44,999. The top-end variant of the A56 comes with 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage, catering to users who demand high-performance devices for multitasking and gaming.

Similarly, the Galaxy A36 5G will also come in three variants, with prices ranging from ₹32,999 to ₹35,999, offering premium features at an affordable price point.
