Royal Enfield has introduced the Scram 440 in India, priced at ₹2.08 lakh (ex-showroom), marking an upgrade from the Scram 411. The new model comes in two variants: the Trail variant priced at ₹2.08 lakh and the Force variant, which costs ₹2.15 lakh. The Force variant offers enhanced features like cast aluminum alloy wheels and tubeless tyres, making it suitable for adventurous riders. The new engine configuration brings a significant improvement in power, with a 3mm increase in bore size compared to the Scram 411. This change allows the bike to generate 25.4bhp at 6250rpm and 34Nm of torque at 4000rpm, offering a noticeable boost in performance over the previous model, which delivered 24bhp at 6500rpm and 32Nm at 4250rpm.
