Reliance Jio owned by Mukesh Ambani has announced the launch of Jio True-5G services in Hyderabad and Bengaluru, two cities in southern India. With this, eight locations around the nation can now access the company's 5G services.

On October 5, Jio announced the beta trials of its Jio True-5G services in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Varanasi. The business launched its beta in Chennai and Nathdwara before Diwali.

 “Jio is extending Jio True-5G’s reach across more cities, namely Bengaluru & Hyderabad. JioTrue5G, in these two tech-centric cities will help realize the true potential of some of the latest technologies that will serve humanity and improve the quality of life of Indians,” Reliance Jio stated in a press release.

 Jio is back with a Welcome offer for 5G, just as when its 4G services first launched. Selected consumers are invited to enjoy Jio's 5G services with unlimited data without any additional fees as part of the Jio Welcome Offer. Users get access to data at speeds of up to 1 Gbps.

Selected consumers can access the Jio Welcome Offer using the the MyJio app. Only users with an active base plan that costs $239 or more are eligible for this service.

Users who take advantage of the deal can utilise as much 5G data as they want without worrying about running out of space. To qualify for the user's daily data limit, only 4G usage will be taken into account.
