Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus: Key Features

The Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus is the first smartphone to debut with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, offering powerful performance and energy efficiency. To enhance thermal management, it comes with a new ice-sealed circulating pump cooling system, graphite layers, and improved heat dissipation.

It features a 6.83-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 3,200 nits peak brightness, and is protected by Xiaomi’s Dragon Crystal Glass for durability.

Camera Setup

  • Rear Cameras: 50MP Sony LYT-800 main sensor, 50MP telephoto lens (2.5x optical zoom), and 8MP ultra-wide sensor.

  • Front Camera: 32MP selfie shooter with up to 4K video recording.

Durability

The Pro Plus carries IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings, making it resistant to dust, splashes, and high-pressure water jets. Xiaomi claims it has survived drop tests from 2 metres, repeated 50 times.

Battery

One of its biggest highlights is the 7,000mAh battery with 90W fast charging and 22.5W reverse wired charging, ensuring all-day usage even for heavy users.

Redmi Note 15 Pro: Specifications

The Redmi Note 15 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400-Ultra processor and shares many features with the Pro Plus, including:

  • 6.83-inch OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate.

  • 50MP Sony LYT-600 main camera, 8MP ultra-wide, and 2MP macro sensor.

  • 20MP front camera with 4K video support.

Battery

It also comes with a 7,000mAh battery, but supports 45W fast charging instead of 90W. Reverse wired charging at 22.5W is included as well.

Redmi Note 15: The Affordable Option

The standard Redmi Note 15 offers a more budget-friendly option without compromising too much on features:

  • Display: 6.77-inch OLED with 120Hz refresh rate.

  • Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3.

  • Cameras: 50MP LYT-400 main sensor + 2MP depth sensor, 8MP front camera.

  • Battery: 5,800mAh with 45W fast charging.

Despite being slim at 7.35mm, it retains IP66 rating for dust and splash resistance.

Satellite Edition of Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus

Xiaomi has also introduced a Satellite Messaging Edition of the Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus. This model allows users to send emergency text messages without a network connection using Beidou satellites, making it ideal for remote regions or emergencies.

Conclusion

The Redmi Note 15 series has set a new benchmark in the mid-range smartphone category, with its massive 7,000mAh battery, rugged build, advanced cameras, and flagship-level display. While the standard Note 15 caters to budget-conscious buyers, the Note 15 Pro and Pro Plus bring premium features at competitive prices. The Satellite Edition adds further uniqueness, making the series one of Xiaomi’s most versatile launches yet.

Global availability, including India launch, is expected to be announced soon.
