Living Food Raised $7.5 Million in its Latest Funding Round

News Synopsis

The first party marketplace platform, Living Food has raised $7.5 million in its latest funding round led by Amasia. The funding round also included other investors SOSV, Blume Founders Fund along with angel investors Sid Yog, the founder of the Xander Group and Sandeep Singhal, the co-founder of Nexus Venture Partners. 

The company is planning to use the raised funds to enter more markets and expand its team. It is also planning to invest in tech and logistics and launch some new brands.  

Living Food will keep on working to provide locally sourced healthy food that is not only good for people but is also right for the planet earth. Living Food started in 2018 and delivers fresh locally produced food within the day of its harvesting. 

It has expanded the business since and now includes more than 700 stock-keeping units (SKUs) in 24 categories. These categories include fruits, leafy greens, fresh bread, artisanal chocolates, spreads and sauces, cold-pressed oil in Bangalore. Living Food also provides nationwide delivery for a number of products as well. It is planning to expand the business to Mumbai and more markets in 2022.
