Kia Sonet Crosses 5 Lakh Units Sales in India

Kia announced that its subcompact SUV, the Kia Sonet, has surpassed cumulative sales of 5 lakh units in the Indian market. This milestone marks a significant achievement for the model since its launch.

Kia India Chief Sales Officer Sahn Haeck Park said, "Crossing the 5 lakh sales milestone for Sonet is a moment of pride for all of us. Every Sonet sold represents a customer who trusted Kia, and this milestone is a strong testament to the faith Indian buyers have shown in us."

Made in India SUV With Global Reach

The Kia Sonet is manufactured in India under Kia’s ‘Make in India, For the World’ vision. The model caters to a wide customer base, including first-time car buyers and young families, while staying aligned with evolving preferences in the subcompact SUV segment.

According to the company, the Sonet contributes nearly 35 percent of Kia India’s domestic sales volume. Internationally, the SUV has recorded over 100,000 units in export sales across nearly 70 global markets, including the Middle East and Africa, Central and South America, Mexico, and Asia-Pacific regions.
