India is The Largest Source of Foreign Tourists in Sri-Lanka
Sri Lanka is showing a gradual revival in tourism after the pandemic. Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority has said that the total number of tourists during the month of October was 22,771. The numbers show an improvement in foreign tourism and the reason is believed to be vaccination all around the world.
The Authority also said that India, The United Kingdom, Pakistan, and Germany are the top 5 nations on the list and India was at the top with 37 percent. The United Kingdom had 10 percent and Pakistan had 9 percent of total traffic. Economies all around the world faced the after-effects of the pandemic, and Sri Lanka faced the same issues with its economy.
