Hero Eddy electric scooter launched in India
The electric mobility market has been continuously increasing as we move towards a clean and green future. Most of the major automobile companies have entered the EV market and have already launched their products to their current lineup. Tesla Motors is the biggest player in the Electric Vehicle market. German carmaker Audi has pledged to go completely electric by 2030. Not only cars, but companies have also started introducing electric bikes and scooters. Joining the list, Hero Electric, on Monday has launched its new electric scooter- Hero Eddy. The company claims it to be an easy-to-use vehicle that offers great technology and easy convenience for intracity commutes and short rides. The range of the scooter is not disclosed yet. However, its range is to be predicted in between 50-80 km on a full charge. The scooter will have reverse mode and other features such as Follow me headlights, Find My Bike, E lock, etc. It will also come along with large boot space. The electric scooter comes in two colors- Yellow and Light Blue. The scooter requires no registration or driver’s license to operate the vehicle. Hero Eddy is priced at Rs. 72,000 (ex-showroom).
