News Synopsis

Great Learning by Byju’s, a skill-up ed-tech platform based in Singapore, has acquired Superset, a recruitment automation platform, for an undisclosed amount. Great Learning believes that its recent acquisition will further strengthen its position in supporting students and professionals by connecting with relevant employers at the time of graduation.

Meanwhile, Superset is trying to accelerate its growth in India by expanding its offerings to students and recruiters. The company will continue to operate under the leadership of co-founders Naman Agrawal and Pranjal Goswami.

Mohan Lakhamraju, founder and CEO at Great Learning has said that Superset is a strong and strategic fit for Great Learning. The guiding philosophy of both companies has always been to align the gap between education and employment.

Last July, Byju acquired Great Learning for $ 600 million and expanded its offerings beyond the K12 and test preparation segments. The acquisition by Byju’s was also part of the international expansion strategy.

Founded in 2013, Great Learning is an educational technology company for professional and higher education. We offer comprehensive industry-related programs in a variety of courses in technology, data, and business. Offering programs in collaboration with well-known academic institutions such as Stanford University, MIT, the University of Texas at Austin, and others.
