News Synopsis

As announced in March, Google Play users on Android are beginning to see the Movies & TV Store disappear from the app. On mobile, Google doesn't want users to browse, search, buy or rent TV shows and movies in the Play Store app. Instead, Google TV is the intended alternative, and users can also view their library while it's recently updated in the "Highlights" news feed.

As part of this change, we have made changes to past purchases, family sharing, payments (including the use of Play credit and gift cards), refunds, Play points, or wishlists. Nothing has changed in the recently revised web interface.

The Play Store for Android, on the other hand, focuses on applications, games, ebooks, and audiobooks. Users currently have only three tabs (games, apps, books) in the bottom bar, but may have a fourth deal or play pass. It does make navigation a little cleaner. The first reports of the disappearance of movies and television were last week, and today, that is, from Europe. Google has also updated the original announcement post.
