Chip Shortage Leads to Fall in Auto Sales in October

According to the data shared by the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers, the sale of passenger vehicles and two-wheelers has seen a fall in the month of October. The reason behind the fall is taken as the unavailability of the semiconductors and chips in the market, due to which the companies are unable to meet the demand in the market. Hero Moto Corp, along with Honda Motorcycle, Scooter India, Bajaj Auto, and TVS Motors has seen a fall in its sales.
