The covid-19 vaccine from Zydus Cadila has also received emergency use authorisation from the drug regulator on August 20. It is also the first vaccine in India that can be used for the vaccination of 12 years old and above.

The government of India is planning to start the vaccination of 12-14 years old from late February or early March as vaccines like Covovax and Corbevax may be available by that time.
