BMW i7 has achieved a major milestone in India by crossing 1,000 deliveries, marking a significant success in the country’s luxury electric sedan segment. With its futuristic design, premium technology, and a driving range of up to 603 km, the BMW i7 has emerged as BMW’s most successful high-end electric offering in the Indian market.

BMW i7 has reached an important milestone in India, as the company confirmed that 1,000 units of the electric luxury sedan have been delivered across the country. This achievement highlights the strong demand for premium electric sedans among Indian customers and underlines BMW’s growing dominance in the luxury EV segment.

The milestone reflects the positive response received by the BMW i7, thanks to its bold styling, advanced technology, and long driving range. It has now become BMW’s most successful high-end electric vehicle in India.

Futuristic and Bold Exterior Design

The BMW i7 stands out from other luxury sedans with its futuristic design language and commanding road presence. The car features bold proportions and a modern aesthetic that instantly draws attention.

The split headlamp setup includes slim daytime running lights on top, while the Swarovski-crafted BMW Crystal Headlights and the Illuminated Iconic Glow kidney grille enhance its premium appeal, especially during nighttime driving.

Technology-Rich and Premium Cabin

Inside, the BMW i7 offers a high-tech and luxury-focused cabin. At the center of the dashboard is the BMW Interaction Bar, complemented by a large curved display that integrates infotainment and instrument functions.

The system supports navigation, real-time traffic updates, and augmented view features, delivering an intuitive and futuristic user experience.

Theatre-Like Experience for Rear Seat Passengers

One of the standout highlights of the BMW i7 is the comfort it offers to rear-seat passengers. The electric sedan comes equipped with a 31-inch 8K BMW Theatre Screen, powered by Amazon Fire TV, making it a segment-first feature.

The Executive Lounge Seating allows the front passenger seat to recline up to 42.5 degrees, while Merino leather upholstery, massage functions, and seat ventilation ensure a first-class travel experience.

Panoramic Glass Roof and Ambient Lighting

Enhancing the cabin ambience is the Panorama Glass Roof Sky Lounge, which features fully customizable LED ambient lighting. This setup creates a calming and ultra-premium atmosphere inside the car, especially during night drives.

Powerful Electric Performance

The BMW i7 eDrive50 is powered by fifth-generation BMW eDrive technology. The electric luxury sedan produces 449 hp of power and 650 Nm of torque.

Thanks to this setup, the BMW i7 can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.5 seconds, delivering a blend of performance and refinement.

Charging Options and Driving Range

The BMW i7 is equipped with a 101.7 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, offering a WLTP-certified range of up to 603 km, making it suitable for long-distance travel.

For charging, the sedan supports:

• 11 kW AC charger for home or office use

• 22 kW AC charging system for faster charging

• DC fast charging up to 195 kW, which can charge the battery from 10% to 80% in just 34 minutes

He added that crossing 1,000 deliveries proves Indian customers appreciate advanced design, powerful performance, and uncompromised luxury in electric vehicles.

BMW i7 Variants Available in India

The BMW i7 is available in two variants in India:

• BMW i7 eDrive50 M Sport

• BMW i7 M70 xDrive (high-performance variant)
