  • Google to develop a gigawatt-scale AI data centre campus in Visakhapatnam, along with additional campuses in Noida

Renewable-Powered AI Infrastructure

The planned deployment will integrate:

  • Renewable power generation

  • Transmission systems

  • Hyperscale AI compute infrastructure

Facilities will be designed for:

  • Liquid cooling systems

  • Energy-efficient power architectures

Additionally, a portion of GPU capacity will be reserved for:

  • Indian startups

  • Research institutions

Recognising the talent gap in AI infrastructure engineering, the group plans to collaborate with academic institutions to develop:
