2025 Kia EV6 Facelift Unveiled

Introduction of  Kia EV6:

  • Kia has unveiled the facelifted 2025 EV6 in South Korea.

  • This marks the first major update since its debut in 2021.

  • The latest model features design tweaks, interior changes, new features, and an updated powertrain.


  • Available in three derivatives: Light, Earth, and GT Line.

  • Pre-bookings are underway.

  • Deliveries in Korea are expected to start next month.

Exterior Updates:

LED Headlights:

  • Redesigned cluster with new boomerang-shaped LED DRLs and sleeker twin projector lamps.

Front Bumper and Air Dam:

  • Revised design for a fresh appeal.

  • Alloy Wheels:

  • New dual-tone alloy wheels.

General Styling:

  • Rest of the exterior remains largely unchanged.

Interior Changes:


  • Curved twin LED display for the 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system and 12.3-inch digital driver’s display.

Steering Wheel:

  • New two-spoke design with steering wheel grip detection and fingerprint reader.

  • Allows registered drivers to start the car without a key.

Charging Outlet:

  • Repositioned to the right-hand side of the tailgate.

Additional Features:

  • Digital rear-view mirror.

  • Improved head-up display.

  • AI-based navigation setup borrowed from newer Genesis models.

  • Front camera with graphic overlays for navigation.

Updated Powertrain:

Battery Pack:

  • New 84kWh battery pack replacing the older 77kWh unit.

Motor Specifications:

Light Trim:

Single-motor, rear-wheel drive setup. 226 bhp and 350 Nm of torque. Peak range of 494 km on a single charge (up from 475 km).

Earth and GT-Line Trims:

Dual-motor, all-wheel drive setup. 321 bhp and 605 Nm of torque. Earth variant: Peak range of 461 km on a single charge. GT-Line variant: Peak range of 432 km on a single charge.


All variants can be fast charged from 0 to 80% in just 18 minutes.

Ride Comfort:

Kia has added frequency-selective dampers to improve ride comfort.


The 2025 Kia EV6 introduces significant updates in both design and functionality, enhancing its appeal in the electric crossover market.
