Users simply need to select a video to watch and swipe up from the bottom of the screen to return to their device’s homepage. The video can scale down and move across the screen of your mobile.”

It also said that the company appreciate users’ patience while the company worked on enabling this feature for iOS 15+ devices. The new feature allows users to multitask and makes it easier to watch videos. It will allow the video to stay on the screen in a minimised player with concentrated playback controls.

Google is also testing the PiP feature for standard YouTube content with its premium subscribers, but it is not yet released to those who do not have a subscription.
