Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, will travel to Davos, Switzerland, in January to take part in the World Economic Forum WEF meeting. Yogi Adityanath will be the first chief minister of Uttar Pradesh to attend the WEF conference. He will be accompanied by a delegation of senior state industry department officials.

The task of making travel arrangements has been given to Invest UP, the state's investment promotion and facilitation agency. As and when necessary, Invest UP will enlist the help of businesses or organizations Confederation of Indian Industries.

The WEF meeting, which will take place between 16 and 20 January 2023, will bring together leaders from the private and public sectors as well as from civil society to discuss global issues and set objectives for the coming year.
