Xiaomi has officially unveiled the Xiaomi 17 Ultra in China, further strengthening its premium lineup for 2025. Positioned as the company’s most advanced Ultra device yet, the phone succeeds the Xiaomi 15 Ultra — but instead of redesigning everything, Xiaomi appears focused on perfecting what already worked.

From a new flat-frame aesthetic to a bigger battery and an ambitious camera system, the 17 Ultra signals Xiaomi’s effort to refine its Ultra series philosophy.

One of the standout highlights of the Xiaomi 17 Ultra is its redesigned body. For the first time in the Ultra lineup, Xiaomi has opted for a completely flat 2D display and a flat vertical frame.
