News Synopsis

Covid-19 has seriously affected the world in many ways for the past two years. Not only we suffered from the loss of lives of our close ones, but it severely impacted the economy of many countries and global organizations. Institutes and organizations are bleeding out of funds to fight against the virus and recover from their financial losses. World Health Organisation (WHO), which is regarded as one of the highest bodies to regulate and develop healthcare worldwide has appealed to wealthy nations to donate $16 billion to help them fight against covid-19. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyeus, WHO chief said that with the help of developed nations, they can increase vaccination, testing, and supply medicines to overcome covid-19. This could help to end the covid-19 pandemic by the end of this year.
