News Synopsis

According to reports, Meta-owned WhatsApp is working on a new feature that would allow users to share their status updates to Facebook stories without leaving WhatsApp.

According to reports, users could previously share status updates to Facebook stories, but they had to go through the extra process of manually posting the update each time they posted something new.

But, due to this new feature, the procedure may now be automatic for specific status updates that users select when the option is activated.

According to the report, users will be able to find the option "share my status updates across my accounts", under the WhatsApp Status Privacy setting, where they may add their Facebook account.

Furthermore, the source stated that this option will be optional and will be disabled by default.

If users want particular status updates to be posted to Facebook stories without leaving WhatsApp, they can enable this option in the Status Privacy settings.

Additionally, according to the source, this capability would save users time and effort when manually sharing their status updates with Facebook Stories without leaving WhatsApp.

Here's a list of the most awaited WhatsApp features in 2023

According to reports, WhatsApp is working on a subscription service for WhatsApp Business. Similar to premium services like Telegram, WhatsApp Premium for Business will provide some additional benefits such as unique business connections and the ability to connect more than four devices to a single account.

WhatsApp Business now has a new Business Tool tab.

Users will soon see a new tab on the app's main screen called Business Tool. This new page allows users to access Business Tools without having to go through in-app settings. The new page will contain a corporate profile as well as Instagram and Facebook ad integration.

Avatars

After the success of Avatars on Facebook and Instagram, we may soon see them on WhatsApp. WhatsApp is aiming to offer avatars, according to reports. You may use an avatar as a mask and a sticker when conducting a video call with them.

Companion Mode - multi-device sync

The WhatsApp Companion Mode will allow users to add a secondary mobile device, including tablets, to their current WhatsApp account. Users may only use Web WhatsApp to connect their current WhatsApp account to a PC.

The increased time limit for deleting sent messages

WhatsApp intends to extend the time limit for deleting sent messages. Users can now delete sent messages in 1 hour, 8 minutes, and 16 seconds.
Meanwhile, WhatsApp is apparently developing a new feature dubbed "audio chats," which will be available within conversations in a future Android update.

A new waves icon will be added to the chat header, allowing users to start audio chats, and a red button will be added to stop ongoing calls.
