News Synopsis

After WhatsApp recently released multi-device features in the beta version of WhatsApp for Android and iOS, WhatsApp is now working on improvements to allow users to link different mobile devices with the latest version of the beta.

According to reports, WhatsApp is developing a feature that will allow users to talk with the same account on different phones, or a phone and a tablet. The feature instructs you to register the device you’re using as a companion by scanning a code with your primary phone, however, there does not appear to be one to scan for now. It is also assumed that the feature would be soon available on iOS.

In November 2021, WhatsApp released Linked Devices as a public beta and has been updating the app ever since. WhatsApp's linked device feature already allows users to use their account on a variety of devices, but now it only supports PCs as a secondary device.
