News Synopsis

Recently, the popular messaging app WhatsApp launched multi-device support. This multi-device feature was a much-awaited feature. It has been available on its rival app Telegram for a long time. Lately WhatsApp Business has gained popularity not only among businesses but also among users who have two SIM cards and want to use WhatsApp on both their devices. Businesses and Companies have been using WhatsApp to connect with their customers to answer their queries and receive orders. At the moment, the messaging app let users connect to four additional devices for free, both on the WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business. However, as per a report by WaBetaInfo, this may change soon as WhatsApp is planning to launch a paid subscription for WhatsApp Business.

According to the report, this paid subscription will enable WhatsApp Business users to connect up to 10 devices to a single WhatsApp account. This will eventually make it easier for businesses to connect with their customers as multiple employees will be able to access the same account on their devices. Currently, it is not been disclosed whether the subscription offers other features to the account but it is estimated that the messaging app will introduce several other features to make the subscription plan more appealing. Even the cost and subscription period of this are not revealed yet and there’s no information if this is a one-time subscription or if users need to pay a recurring fee.
